Biological Explorer software uses workflow templates that are typically packaged into the software using a built-in template manager. If the template manager is not working, then templates can be added to the Biologics Explorer software by transferring them to a specific file path on the C drive: C:\ProgramData\SCIEX\BiologicsExplorer\templates.
A template might not be uploaded into the software due to insufficient internet connectivity or the template itself is damaged. The Status column in the Package Manager screen shows whether or not the template is available (uploaded, green check mark), damaged (red X), or not approved (deprecated, yellow exclamation mark - see image below).
If the template is damaged or not approved, a replacement for that template can be requested from the SCIEX technical support team.
The table below shows all the available BE4.0 templates that are installed by default by the software.
