Answer
- Procedure to follow for Analyst® software:
1) Enable "MS only" hardware profile.
2) Use Tune and Calibrate mode.
3) Create a generic MRM method following a random transition. Allow enough time (10 min) to give the heaters time to heat up.
4) Put a source temperature (TEM) of 700°C. Below 700°C the heaters do not redden.
5) Put a 70 psi GS2 to protect the heaters when using high temperatures.
6) Click on Start.
7) Check if the heaters are reddening. If they don't turn in red, there is an issue with it and you should contact SciexNow.
